Does OLA have press releases to send the papers for the LL side of the story? We have to be pro-active and get news coverage after the BB summit. This will be a HUGE issue as the pesticides that kill these pests for good is no longer available (again, thanks to our policiticans) and their spread through Ontario is startling.
This is true, the only way the tenant atavists get heard is as a group.
There is a large group of LL's here, sure they post here and help each other out, but what about making noise officially as a group? What is the OLA doing to get the voice of small LL's heard on this issue? There is no time to sit back and wait for the 2011 election, it seems as if decisions are being made now, small ll"s need an organized voice in all of this.

Reality check.............we CANT find and kill every bug because WE are not the ones bringing them into the apt buildings!!
WE cant find and kill every bug because some tenants will NOT co operate.
-They wont keep thier apts uncluttered
-they wont prepare thier apts for BB treatments
-they wont allow access for the pest control company to treat the apts
-they dont take proper precautions to limit the chances of bringing BB's into their apts.
-they have NO respeonsibility to deal with a problem they are helping to create.
THATS the reality.
Our job is FAR from simple. And good landlords ARE getting out of the business.
Becareful what you wish for. Look at the mess TCHC is in..............that, rundown dumps and one bedroom lusxury condos will be all that will be left.
