We should never feel "sorry" for a small landlord. No one made them investing in real estate, it was their choice. If they are not happy they can sell and another, superior, landlord will rent it out.

Yes, this whole "it's only the corporate landlords who are evil meme" is wrong.

My last corporate landlord was much better than my current "small" landlord who has no idea of the laws and keeps complaining to me.
