What happened to all the landlord "suicides"? Was it just grifting?

I remember reading on some Facebook sites how so many small landlords were supposedly commiting suicide because of some 'rulings' by the landlord and tenant board (LTB)/

In one infamous tale a small landlord won his case at the LTB and then had the verdict overturned later that evening....which isn't possible!

While my research show that there needs to be reforms in the rules, this type of grifting makes us all look bad.
