Canadian Landlords Vs. American Landlords

Was chatting with some friends while sitting on the warm white sands of South Beach. A few are here studying and working but used to live in Canada. I brought up the subject of how Canadian landlords were very strict, controlling, money hungry and mean and cheap. This is why we need the government to control these vicious and entitled predators or we would have even more tenants dying.

My friends say their American landlords are great! Never any problems and their landlords are decent, moral people and don't look down on them because they are renting. The reason is so many people rent now here, even former home owners, after they had a real estate problem years ago.

My one friend said American landlords are so sweet even though they have it much tougher than Canadian landlords because the rules are very pro tenant in the USA and in the USA tenants all have guns so it can be dangerous for them in some areas.

Meanwhile Canadian landlords have everything on their side and tenants don't have easy access to guns to shoot them if they disrespect us.
