Rent receipt question
My tenants pay rent plus utilities. The utilities are in my name and they pay me and I pay the bill. I'm doing rent receipts for them and am wondering, do I include the utilities portion on their receipt or just the rent portion? When I do my taxes I include the funds they give me as income and the utilities as an expense. Thanks
