Had to check this out at least in the hopes of getting a chuckle. Expected a big "Trump-like big rally but it seemed like a like a cheap publicity stunt trying to copy the Tenants rally (except with far less people, and unlike the Tenant rally no one was worth listening to at this media stunt).
-Around 15 people low energy (looked like people had relatives there with them to try to make it look like more people)
-No social distancing with people crowded together. One old fart kept getting in peoples faces with his phone filming.
-Weird cartoon signs looked like they were written after a lot of weed or a few bottles of vodka (or meth).
-Lots of personal insults against Doug Ford (that will help them, LOL)
-Screeching over wanting more money, liberals, open courts, "good tenants" will pay, Cerb b.s., etc.
-Ford, Housing people, no one showed up to hear them.
Beside it being a publicity stunt their main point is the discredited argument they made. Their point was landlords need government money and to kick tenants out whenever they want to or there will be no more "affordable housing"
.........when vacancy rates are now higher than ever, landlords are competing with each other, and rents are dropping $100 to $300 in many areas.
THEIR WHOLE "SUPPLY SIDE" ECONOMIC ARGUMENT IS FALSE.
Rents are dropping, supply is increasing you clowns.
You are not needed!
If you aren't happy, sell your rental property!
There are other law abiding people who with REPLACE YOU and IMPROVE THE RENTAL INDUSTRY!
